MV Power Cable CU/XLPE/PVC/SWA(AWA)/PVC Cables
1. Application: Medium Voltage XLPE Insulated armoured power cable is used to transmit and distribute power in power transmission and distribution system of 3.6kv~35kV . It is generally applied to the fields including power, construction, mines, metallurgy, petrochemical industry and communication in complete replace of oil immersed paper insulated power cable.
2. Structure:
Conductor: annealed stranded Copper or aluminium conductor, class 2.
Conductor screen: Semi-conducting compound
Insulation: XLPE
Insulation screen: Semi-conducting compound
Metal screen: copper tape
Filler: PP ropes
Wrapping: No woven tape
Inner sheath: Polyvinyl chloride PVC
Armour: Galvanized steel wire armour (SWA) for three-conductor cables;
Aluminium wires armour (AWA) for single conductor cables.
Outer-sheath: Polyvinyl chloride (PVC), Black color.
3. Standard: IEC60502-2
4. Voltage: 3.6/6KV, 6/10KV, 8.7/15KV, 12/20KV, 18/30KV
or 3.8/6.6kV, 6.35/11kV, 8.7/15kV, 12.7/22kV and 19/33kV
5. Working temperature: Max. conductor temperature at normal operation: 90℃
Max. conductor temperature at short circuit(Max. 5s duration): 250℃
6. Minimum bending radius: for single conductor cable, 15XOD of cable;
for three-conductor cable, 12XOD of cable.
